We and Tradigital did a joint bake sale in the drawing room, raised: £21.53
Contacting local art shops for sponsorship:
Strand art: sponsored us, raised £10

Total fund-raising:
£31.53

Total needed to print: £47.93
Group put forward: £16.40

my portion of the newspaper:

colour pallet used:

 Rough images:

Rough images used for the exercise page

Text-less images:

Text less images used main colour pallet being cyan and magenta with yellow to make more important things pop.
We wanted to put in a collage-esque component into the newspaper thus creating the mass of the pages out of block shapes with texture overlays, only using line on important parts where I needed to draw attention.

finished pages:

We wanted a hand written style throughout the newspaper, I wanted to draw upon our first ideas of using varied fonts for the text. To both use decorative writing for titles and subtitles and more basic fonts for larger chunks of writing or instructional writing.

Extra work for the newspaper:

Artists portrait for the contents page as part of an introduction

Fictitious adverts for the back page, I wanted to keep a fairly black and white theme, I did experiment with a dot tone however I was constantly displeased with how it looked.
